This is total bull, I don't see any reason why the Habs would be shopping him. Sure they might listen if another team makes an amazing offer for him but that is about it.

This whole shopping Subban thing is Pierre McGuire's doing, Montreal is not going to trade a future Norris trophy Winner. Period!

Anyone find it a tad odd that Bergevin only filed an arbitration hearing for Price? Either they think they will have a deal in place this week with Subban or they are not worried about an offer sheet.

Or Montreal will match. I think they must be close.

People are so bloody hard of hearing.

McGuire said if he was a team picking high, the first thing he'd do is call the Habs and get them to trade him PK for the pick. How that turned into him wanting to trade subban is beyond me.

Isn't Nick Kypreos supposed to be a bit of a meatball.

Not suppose to be a meatball, he is...a rumour monger and a devils advocate for the PA...I wouldn't put alot of stock in what he says.....

I think PK will always be involved in trade rumors for a large part of his career in montreal. That's par for the course for a brash, star player in this market. Fortunately, I think PK has the type of personality to not be phased by it.

Sadly, he is not. Not only is Subban coming off a down season, Yakupov has a much higher ceiling. We would certainly be adding to acquire that pick.
Definitely, I am probably PK's biggest fan and realize he isn't worth the 1st overall.

Yakupov is the real deal.

You are definitely not if that's how you feel. You don't trade developed young stud defenders that play a unique, entertaining and effective style for anything but a sure thing.

Yakupov has question marks, especially with the injury history. He has never stepped on the ice yet and is not a Crosby or Malkin. So no, he may very well not be the real deal.
