Also I would like to point out if it hasn't been done already, this player's nickname is decided:

Macaroni AIAEC

(Just noticed Ron Burgundy's post and I think now I see what he did there.)
Not sure about a nickname, but...

We've seen this movie before, no?

4th round
OHL
Ridiculously sweet name

It's the second coming of Luca Caputi!

Your inspirations are near-subliminal, but effective. Do you have access to Zach Parise?

I do know somebody named Zach, and they do like the Penguins, but especially Crosby. I'm not sure what his last name is though...

All I know is that he hates Canada, and loves the city of Pittsburgh.

If he stay healthy, he could be a very exciting player. I just hope he's not another Veilleux.

Please don't say that. Near the end of the 2000-01 season, I traded Samsonov in a fantasy keeper league straight up for Markus Naslund.

Both players were on track for 75-point seasons. I was convinced Samsonov was a rising talent and that Naslund would not do much more than he was showing.

Over the next three seasons, Naslund put up seasons of 48, 41 and 35 goals and a total of 278 points. Samsonov registered 29, 5 and 17 goals and 121 points.

Probably the worst trade in my league's history.

I've heard 3 different names thrown out, whether relative to his situation or his playing style, none of which remind me of him at all.

Ovechkin, Caputi, Veilleux?

He's teasing because of the bold prediction to being as good as Ovy.

I got to see him at the Pens prospect game. He was really, REALLY smooth out there and you could see a ton of skill. He didn't seem to be as much as a stickhandler as Samsonov. I thought he looked more like a Slava Kozlov

Dupuis 2.0!

We can upgrade him, we have the technology!

Faster!

More backchecking!

Less hands!
