Pit is loaded with D prospects, Chicago is loaded with Forward prospects. I think this trade balances both prospect pools with equal-caliber type prospects.
the value is there, and I do think it would benefit both sides. But I think both Chicago and Pittsburgh value those two guys too much to swap them. At least for now
I see the idea here and agree with it. PIT has a D heavy prospect pool and CHI's is skewed in favor of forwards. Don't you maybe want to start a bit smaller though? Like Morin for Harrington? I doubt either fanbase is to keen on dishing their faves, even though it may well be mutually benefitial.
Morrow just isn't allowed to go anywhere. Which okay, Shero may disagree with, but I doubt it, what with the drafting his sidekick 8th overall yesterday.

If the Penguins wanted Saad, we would have drafted him over Joe Morrow when we had the chance.
There's a reason why Morrow was taken 20+ picks before Saad.
Ok do you want Mark McNeill? Seems like all you care about is where they got drafted a year ago so I guess McNeill > Morrow since he was drafted before him.
I put Saad in because he's a big time offensive prospect. If you aren't aware of that then I suggest you get educated, particularly about a player from your city. Don't spew your ignorance because you aren't aware that prospect values change a year after they are drafted.
To the OP, this is a deal that could be beneficial to both teams however it would be a NO from the Pens. Morrow is coveted in this organization and we aren't moving him for Saad. Thank god that Chicago doesn't want to move Saad for Morrow or it would have turned into a war between CHI and PIT with fans trying to downplay the other prospect.
The deal just doesn't make much sense. Chicago's giving up an outstanding prospect at a position they have holes at on the NHL roster for a Dman that they don't really need, though impressive he may be.
