Found an old Easton Synthesis intermediate shaft at Play It Again Sports. Man, it's hard to find blades for this thing, so I have a Forsberg/Zetterberg in it. Dunno if they ever made a Sakic for it.

Oh yeah the old intermediate tapered blades. Yeah those sucked. That's probably why senior blades aren't fitting in my shaft.

Do you have one? Guy at my local hockey shop said they could probably shave down a tapered wood blade to fit, since Easton made special blades for this shaft. I paid almost nothing for it, so not a big loss.

I just bought a shaft cut down from an intermediate one piece. I thought about shaving the wood blade. Maybe I will try it.

Got my Graf G75 yesterday and holy crap they are awesome. Haven't had time to bake them yet and I'm already in love. The E700 is crazy light as well, it's really like a bunch of feathers.

Picked up some clearance junior blades for my new shaft. Not ideal, but if they don't work out they'll make decent outdoor blades.

Got three wood One95 blades, a One30 composite, and a One95 composite for $20 TOTAL. Not bad.

They are a little shorter and skinnier and more closed than the senior versions, but not too bade the wood blades are like mild Drury's, heel wedge but not quite as open. Tried to add some toe curve to one and we'll see how it plays.

Added a Warrior Dolomite Double D int 70 flex Draper. Getting used to it for shooting, but was making some solid passes with it. Way lighter than my other sticks too.

Yea, import duty is gonna be f**king brutal. Ship with USPS in the future, they charge more but you know 100% you won't be slapped with any import fees.

Awkward that I did ship with USPS... just typical British government stealing money, they let all the immigrants in but do there job properly when there is money to be made.

If only it were that easy, I actually found out the day after I ordered them that we were going to Boston in August, 20 miles from the new goalie monkey store in Massachusetts oh well, at least I can break them in over the summer. Here they are!

Helmet-- Bauer 6500, 6500 cage
Gloves-- Warrior Tempo

Stick-- Bauer APX

Skates-- Bauer Flexlite 3.0

Elbows-- Bauer 60's

Shoulders-- Bauer Total One's

Shins-- Bauer 80's

Really recommend the Tempo gloves because they give your wrists so much room for stickhandling. The APX could possibly be the lightest stick on the market, but it is also one of the most expensive. The Flexlites are great light skatesthat are actually pretty cheap when it comes to skates. The TotalOne shoulder pads are very comfortable and easy to move in. So I am satisfied with my equipment.

The APXs are indeed the lightest stick at 416g for non-grip P92 if I remember my testings. Slightly heavier than the old CLs.

BTW, what's a 6500 helmet?

^ditto.

Picked up new APX stick, this time it's grip since the matte finish was out of stock.

In the hunt for a Tackla 5000 or 9000 pants now

Thinking about trying the Nexus 600 if the balance doesn't feel too far off. Or maybe the 1000 if I can get a decent deal on it (like < $180 for the intermediate).

But I am kinda liking the tapered wood blade combo, so maybe I'll spring for a clearance Dolomite shaft and just use some wood blades.

The Nexus 600 is a bit more blade heavy and overall weighs slightly more than the One60 and X 4.0
