Kinda disappointing. Good player or not, he's still a ****ing All-Star.

That's a little interesting to hear. I would have thought Lats would of been ditched before Nick. One highlight about it though is this proves Fletcher isn't just going to get (and keep) players from former teams he's been a part of.

No real loss, guy seemed to disappear the second half. Of course, so did most of the rest of the team.

Totally ok with this. The Wild need less guys who rock for the first 30% of the season and then completely vanish.

Nick johnson was a placeholder. he looked promising the first half but ultimately just a body keeping a spot warm for our prospects. To be filled by Bulmer.

Good to hear. Not a fan of his game, not good enough in any area to play consistently in this league. Didn't want to have a 1-way tied up in him.

Went from a waiver steal and an All-Star to out the door.

I'm not complaining either. Good bye.

He started off great and seemed to develop chemistry with Brodziak. But soon as we started losing, his effort and game went to ****. As everyone else has said, that spot can be taken by Bulmer or Larsson.

• Fletcher confirmed Nick Johnson won't be tendered a qualifying offer and will become a free agent. With so many prospects turning pro, a need to sign free agents and a limit of 50 contracts, Fletcher needs the opening.
