First-hand, I saw a lot of his teams from Everett, but in all fairness to Craig, he was going through some severe personal issues and was taking over a team run by Kevin Constantine (little talent there, just systems and uptight-ness (is that a word?)); so the team was terrible for the time he was there. To be honest, the Spokane Chiefs play a pretty up-tempo style, and with a sluggish team like Everett, we just walked all over them ... there really wasn't much of a chance to see what kind of team they were.

One thing of note: He did coach Ryan Murray; so if the Jackets do select Ryan on Friday night, there's some familiarity there.

A head coach should be able to hire his own assistants. I hope Richards made these choices and they weren't made by the two blind mice. Three if MacFarland was in the loop.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Thanks. Sounds like the process was exactly as it should have been.

Goodness, that is atrocious in a very special way. Bottom 3 in PK for FIVE CONSECUTIVE seasons. And that's with us in the league too.

Just so long as noone in Manitoba presses him about his team giving up games in the third period.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the "but they've been fired before!!1!" argument.
Wait... wait... are you suggesting that it might not be the fired coach but the organ-eye-zation?

Arniel's long gone, and everyone still wants to keep piling on....
