It's "Huette" not "Huet"

the right pronuciation is "Huette" rather than "Huet", confirmed by Cristobal's friend

I have to disagree: its Huet (or `You-ey` ) and NOT Huette, wich sounds in english like (`You-Ette`).

The French AND Quebecois families both in France and here pronounce it the same way, without the `ette` ending wich makes it sound totally wrong.

Having both Canadian and French passports i believe i can say i`m right about this.

Thanks

It doesn't really matter if you disagree? If it's how they pronounce it in his family, it's how they pronounce it.

yeah like the other person said, I don't care if you disagree because it has to be pronounced Huette whether you like it or not

Hmmm, you can never say how a name should be pronounced in French before you ask the person.

And Huet's name has been pronounced "Huette" at least for the last 10 years. I can't remember him being called in another way when he was playing for the French team.

no need for a link, the guy just told you he was never called Huet in France and his longtime friend who works at l'entrepot du hockey said his name is pronounced Huet, and on Huet's voice mail it says "Huette"
