Ottawa not #1 in East anymore after loss

I was looking at the stats and with the loss to Montreal tonight the sens drop to 2nd seed and Carolina goes up to first. Ottawa has 50 wins and Carolina has 51wins, and with the same amount of games played and tied for points, team with most wins goes ahead. At least this is how it should be. You think a first round against Ottawa would be better?

Well....
Ottawa is a really different team with.
Hasek
Chara
Reden
Philips
Havlat

Serioulsy...
Think about the habs without Rivet,Souray,Markov, Higgins, and Huet.

I would rather play the Rangers myself, but need to get to sixth for that to happen

haha, yeah i know, they're really hurtin, but i just thought that i'd bring that to everyone's attention, I'm not saying that it's like they've lost their competition, but i'm just asking if you guys think playing against carolina in the first round is better or against ottawa, though I'm also not saying that i'm rulling out the chance of playing against the ranger either if they stay where tehy are and we move up to 6th

Well let's see what our D would be like...

Streit - Komisarek
Bouillon - Dandenault
Simpson - Cote

Number Of AHLers: 1

Not bad.

funny thing is that if we lost today in regulation, we would be 8th and sens would be 1st therefore still end up facing them in the playoffs.
