I'm starting to feel like Matt Frattin has a much better chance of being a successful top six forward than Nazem Kadri. Although he is quite a bit older, he has the physical tools to get the job done and put up points.

I voted for Frattin over Kadri in this poll.

My list for kicks: will probably vote this way throughout the polls

1. Kadri
2. Reilly (would like to see one more year of junior since he lost most of 11-12)
3. Frattin
4. Colborne (played last year with an injury but was developing nicely before his call-up)
5. Blacker
6. Biggs
7. Finn
8. Ross
9. Percy
10. Scrivens
11. Holzer
12. D'Amigo
13. Ashton
14. Rynnas
15. McKegg
16. Leivo

Kadri probably by quite a bit then Frattin.

I wonder how much Gardiner would have won by if he was considered a prospect.

Abbott should be on there instead of Leivo

I think Owuya, Abbot and Deschamps deserve to be in the first round as much as Rynnus and Leivo. Mark in da Park should already be ranked ahead of Rynnus in my opinion.

Voted Kadri.

Might as well call it for Kadri and make #3.

I voted for Kadri as well, but I think the way he's running away with this one over Frattin is not indicative of how close the two are.

Prospect pool seems very deep. Brad Ross might end up being ranked at #10/#11 etc

Agreed. Frattin is an NHL player (essentially) but Kadri has the greater potential.

Frattin's size.

Puts him in the NHL next year.

Frattin's biggest talent is far and away his shot. When his shot is not producing results; he is a fairly invisible player.

Kadri is a playmaker; who is always a threat with the puck. He has great vision and hands. He can also deke with the best of them.

I see them as very different players; but Kadri has a lot more overall potential.

Kadri has the potential to be better than Frattin. Frattin is a better player, but not prospect. As for Frattin being invisible when he isn't shooting...well that's not necessarily true. He's a pretty effective 2-way force given his wheels.

Kadri shouldn't be on this list next year.
