Last summer I had a good 2 dozen of those crazy big orb weavers living around my yard.
I let em ride for a while until they got so big I was freaked out by them.
So our upcoming season schedule is very streaky. I'm used to seeing us go home/away/home/away/away/home non stop, but we go on 5 games each way like 10 damn times.
Also, 2 times versus the champs in the first like, 2 weeks.
This is the perfect time to play the champs, stanley cup hangover and all.

I had one for two years, made a web by the corner of the garage door. I was a little freaked out by it at first, but then it became like a pet. I havent seen any this year though.

I had two by my front door, right up in the corners.
When I had food delivered to my house late at night I'd point them out to the delivery guys and watch them squirm.
I just didn't want them coming inside when it started getting cold so I did a mass extermination in august.
They spin some pretty impressive webs though.
Read somewhere that using the wrong spray to try and kill a spider could actually mess with their nervous system and cause them to become more aggressive than usual.

I got the shakes just reading that. lol. arachnophobia sucks big time.
Why do I have no urge to study for high school finals at all?
I mean, usually they're like way easier than the actual tests they give in the courses....
Ah High School, how I miss it. Should've listened to the people who told me it's the time of your life. Now it's go to work and talk to people on HF who use fake names.
Not really a shock, I know quite a few people who work for the gov. and they talk about how there are people that make sure they use their sick days every year. Something needs to be changed, because this is a massive waste.
A confidential government report obtained by CBC News reveals federal workers have been booking off sick in record numbers, costing Canadian taxpayers more than $1 billion a year in lost wages alone.
The internal Treasury Board report indicates federal public servants are staying home an average of 18 working days a year, or almost a full month off the job.
The Harper government has announced it is cutting about 19,500 jobs across the federal public service over the next three years — coincidentally, almost exactly the number of federal workers off sick on any given day.

Does anyone have the class6 (motorcycle or moped) license? I was thinking about getting one but I have no idea as how to go about it? Any school recommendations? Do you need to own a motorcycle before you take your driving exam, or do some schools provide this for you?

And grow to huge proportions.....mutant giant spiders.
I've had one living in the kitchen sink downstairs in my house for at least a month now. Dude is always there. Not sure what he could be eating as he has no web action going on.

Do you live a lonely life to be keeping a spider in your sink for over a month?
I just got the best paycheque of my life! I'm actually beyond excited about that. I put away $600 into my new car fund, paid my cell bill, paid some money onto my credit card and student loan, and still have a couple hundred to spare.
Also have a job interview tomorrow with my HF namesake. Pretty pumped.

You should likely pay off your credit card before putting money towards your student loans(unless it was the mandatory payment). Even still, if you're running a balance on your CC you should have your student loan re-payments reduced to the minimum amount until you're CC is paid off. CC's interest rates are way higher than student loans and plus the amount of interest you pay on your student loan you can claim 15% of it on your taxes.
Also congrats on the interview, what type of position is it with them?

The negative to my student loan is that it's a bank loan, and I dropped out before graduation. Just realized that I wasn't doing what I wanted to do, and figured it wasn't worth wasting another 5-10 thousand dollars on. I'm not sure that I'd qualify for tax relief. I paid off my MC already, but my Visa still carries a good $900 or so, which really sucks. I get a lot of pressure from my aunt on the loan. She's my co-signer.
Looking to join flight crew. Get a chance to fly, and get a foot in the door with them for when I finish my maintenance degree. I did baggage handling and ramp services for them for a year while I worked for Servisair, but it's not really the same as being an actual employee.

Oh for sure, if you want to work in the airline industry it's probably better to get on with the airline as opposed to working for Servisair.
As for the student loan thing if you used the money to go to school you can definitely claim it on your taxes. If the bank doesn't send you an annual statement you can most definitely ask them for one and claim the amount paid in interest on your annual taxes.

Yeah. I'm accepted to SAIT, but I'm likely gonna defer my acceptance to September 2013 for now, and see where I'm at in a year.
I wish I had known that at tax time. At least I know for next year. Thanks!
