Euro draft June 28th.

Has anybody heard what their respective team intend to draft on June 28th?
Will your team draft a goaltender, a D, a centerman, a winger?

From what I read the Titan intend to draft twice this season and want to advance for the Euro draft.

Moncton have the #1 pick and will draft either Valeri Nichushkin or Aleksandr Barkov. Thus Moncton will finish #5 , ahead of Bathurst.

Not in the CHL. It looks fairly certain Moncton will select Nichushkin as Barkov is doing quite well for himself in Europe playing with men, and will also be able to jump into the AHL at 18 if he doesn't play Canadian Junior.. Very unlikely he'd come to Canada IMO

Another Kabanov situation or a different one this time around?

I hope for Moncton's sake that you get a high end Russian as your offense will need it badly.

I believe Flynn has Barkov at #1 however Nichushkin is fully commited to NA. His agent has stated he will play for whatever CHL that drafts him. Therefor I think he is more likely.

Chicoutimi will probably be looking for a defense.

ideally a 95 but a 94 might do.

I would love to see the Olympiques attract Tomas Hertl.
He and Hyka together would be quite a treat to watch.

I could see the Mooseheads drafting Barkov If he's still around come the 2nd round. He get's nhl drafted out of Europe, plays the 2013 season in junior, then goes to AHL/NHL at 19.

He will be drafted in the 1st round. Not a chance he slips to the second.

For sure this was the guy they're targetting when they said they'd make an off-the-board 2nd round euro pick... But I find it hard to believe you'll get 45-50 teams that don't take a flyer on him before

I personally think the Moose are thinking about a guy who was drafted THIS year and would maybe come over if his team wanted him to next year. He would be 19 and if Mackinnons back and they get a guy this year and next year just imagine the damage the Moose could do on the rest of the Q! So I am thinking maybe Hertl, Teravainen, Lindholm, etc. High impact players that would probably rather not playing in the AHL before the NHL but would play juniors.... Just my opinion but we will all find out Wednesday!

MacKinnon won't be back, but if they could get Eichel they'd still be set up for '13 and beyond... But I have a feeling it will be an NHL Drafted D

Halifax will not draft euro.

they already have Frk and Albelthauser.

can you stop posting anything no sens...

Frk got NHL draft 2nd round so they dont draft a 3th euro like Quebec Remparts...

Abeltshauser goes on a special list just like Grigorenko because he is a '92. They can draft another player just to have for the 13-14 season. I think they will draft a first rounder from this year so that player could go on a special list so they could have two more selections next year and evaluate from there....

Grigo is a 1994 and the special list is for 20-year old euros only.

They are drafting a Euro Cam has publicly said he's planning on taking a home run swing with the 97th pick... If KA comes back they will release his right by the time the season starts.

Marek Hrivik was on it this past season , which enabled us to draft Roman Will and Sebastien Dyk. We relesed Dyk , who was a solid forward, after training camp. Roman Will is on the special list right now because he is a 20- year old euro. Both Hrivik and Will were undrafted.
