Highly doubtful we build a contender by signing 2 UFA's even if they are Parise and Suter. We need a lot more depth for that to happen, depth you rightly pointed out, we don't have.

It's funny you say that. I think they were our ONLY good line last year. Any line where your 2 wingers gets 30+ goals and your centre leads your team in points is a 1st line in my book. Whether they can maintain it is another question.

That's my question also! I fully agree that they were amazing last year. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind. I hope they can maintain what they did last year, but I still believe that we a solid 1st line. I don't think this is the kind of first line that will lead us far in the playoffs.
He's a good enough player, but he's been injured a lot over the past two years. He'd be a clear improvement over last season's third line wingers. To think that some see White on the 3rd line
