Seats starting moving around when the 10AM upgrade process hit. Switched my 4 from 214 row 9 to 213 row12. Not far distance wise but I'm now hopefully on the good side of the stairs.
Sitting on the goal line and being 2 seats off the aisle, I want the stairs to be behind the goal rather than in front of it. Though if I was in the center of the row it wouldn't matter too much.
Does anyone know when seat selections are "locked in" and when do they mail out the tickets?

If you requested to have your subscription tickets mailed, please note that they will be sent to you beginning on, or about, Monday, October 10th - Thursday, October 13th, 2011. If you have not received them by Monday, October 17th, please contact me. Tickets will be available to print and forward beginning on, or about, Monday, October 10th. If your account is not in good standing, tickets will not be delivered and you will not have access to print or forward them. The first game of your subscription will be on Thursday, October 27th at 7:00pm when the Rangers take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. This will be the first regular season game at Madison Square Garden.
So considering our first home game is scheduled for November 1, I'd expect the tickets to go out by mid October....probably on or around Monday, October 15.
I have my selection on Friday starting at 2pm, so I hope the tool doesn't come down on Thursday! haha. How long do you have to choose your new / relocated seats before your window closes? BTW I am seriously probably the last person to get a season ticket. Got my single on October 13th of last season.
There may be a few seats left in the corners, but if you wants seasons, you'll probably have to go to the lower bowl and pay accordingly.
If they stuck to not letting anyone downgrade, then there should be cheap seats from anyone who did not renew as well as anyone who upgraded from the cheap seats to the more expensive.
yes i have seats in section 208 row 18 for next year and i have seat #23 and my rep told me that i am 1 seat off the aisle and that it closer to section 209
you might be near the aisle on the other end because it seems like its not a complete row and there are other seats on the other side of that wall

If you click on row 9 of section 208 on the virtual seating chart, it show seats on the other side of that wall before the section reaches the luxury boxes.

If he is in row 19, the tool shows only 2 seats, 23-24. The other side only goes to row 16.
