That would be cool. I like the jerseys with the coyote head with the feather. I just don't like that logo. The jerseys would look great with a better logo imo.
Does a logo have to be about putting respect and "fear" in opponents?
Im thinking of more symbolic logos, without being corny in some way. I liked several ideas from the first page, desert, hispanic, coyotes, moon inspiraton.
Hey guys I'm a major lurker here but just wanted to throw some work in the ring for y'all to look at...
I do concepts of all sports for fun with Illustrator, here are a few of my most recent Coyotes designs, I do plenty for the Yotes considering as they are my favorite team. So I would only post what I want them to look like!
Here's one sort of for fun, just a modern version of the Kachina era jerseys
(too bad I used Doan's number, may have to change that one)
And here's my most recent work...
Home and away, no real logo changes, but I tried to use a very subtle striping pattern with a slight diamond embellishment under the arms.
Got a little crazy with the number font here, completely custom and obviously a little out-there. But our numbers right now are too bland, I think. Also you'll notice the two pants options, they are meant to be interchangeable but I think black pants with red jersey and red pants with sand jersey would be the best looking options.
I know there's no off-white road jerseys in the league but it's a concept, eh?
Here's a closer look at all of the numerals
And how our roster from last year would end up looking......
(notice the weirdly done 1's on Hanzal, the serifs are on opposite sides, I liked the symmetry though)
And finally an alternate for good measure....
I hope y'all enjoy, but let me know your thoughts..
I really like the numbering on the first set you posted.
My only real issue is that I don't much care for the two current primary logos. I'm not a fan of the home/away Coyote head, and I really kind of hate the alternate Coyote (looks passive and emaciated).
So I like your work, just not the actual Coyotes stuff. Haha

Very Well done .. The second home jersey looks a "little" Calgary Flameish to me . But I would still buy them
EDIT: I thought I would add , that I am not a fan of the sand color I have seen especially in alot of the concepts, but the color you chose and the way you put it together has kind of changed my a mind

I took the minimal route and don't think this is anywhere close to finished or anything (I encourage anybody with better skills than mine to clean this up), but I think there's a kernel of a good idea here and thought I'd share in the hopes of somebody else running with it.

I like the paw logo (though "Phoenix" will need to change to "Arizona") and I like the the State border/State flag logo (though the "PHX" will need to change to "AZ") and i really, really like the crescent moon logo. I'm not a huge fan of any of the logos I've seen that have actual Coyotes in them.

WOW, thats a new concept! and a very nice one too!
Tho I agree with rt, those 'PHX' letters doesnt feel to good on that one, or not at all actually. The "sunset", state/border logo I like alot, so as the crescent moon logo (clean without howlin yote on it).
..ah, no, the Gila Monsters name & logo is just, well, "amusing"?.

..well, I prefer the paw to the prancing or howling coyote', but I do think the paw would make for a better shoulder patch than main logo, and like the logo linked in the post above in script as the center crest.
I like this one. The only thing I think I'd change would be just to keep the primary logo how it is instead of adding the circle with the AZ state flag in the background.

I really like the second and third concepts, and the Coyote and moon logo is very cool! Great job, I'm impressed!

I know most of you will hate it, and that my taste of incredibly sterile, plain, and vanilla is not popular around here, but regardless of that, here's a concept I made by destroying some poor guy's hard work (apologies in advance):
It looks alright. I like the idea of incorporating the paw print. But I am absolutely burned out on the 2 color red/white scheme. The third is a good first shot at breaking up that monotony but the logo isn't up to par.
