??? What has the guy done to get such a raise ? Check his stats .

He is no Marchand nor Clutterbuck, two guys drafted after him.

I really think the team missed him last year, will be interesting to see what a healthy White can do at this point in his career.

Love the guys heart, but he has to make huge leaps in his Defensive game. He was terrible at the end of last year in his own end, if he is gonna be an nhl regular on the 3rd/4th line he's gonna have to pick that aspect of his game up big time.

absolutely the team missed him, it shattered our 4th line for 50 games

he trained so hard in the summer he overtrained and got a hernia, its just bad luck

although he ended the season with a concussion going after florida's big stud Dman whos name escapes me at the moment

so id like to see white take it easy against heavyweights lol.. but what he brings to the team is nothing but solid forechecking and hitting and some decent fights

i really dont know what youd want more out of a 4th liner, happy to see him back, and happy he just may start the year this time instead of suffering such an injury as a sports hernia

If Thrower is just another White.. i'm sorry to hear that.. Ryan White type players are a dime a dozen.

LoL, ya the Habs should have just re-signed Darche instead of bringing back White?

He doesn't bring ANYTHING to the table that will be good for the Habs next year, or anything like that.

Useless plug, nothing more.

People actually said that Thrower had White's fearless attitude, they weren't talking about skill level. Still, we all know he probably won't be a top-3 defenceman, which would be over-expectation for a 2nd rounder.

Thrower another White? What are you on about? The only way Thrower can be compared to White is his willingnes to fight.

Always nice to see comments from people who don't know what they're talking about.

Huh? You mean Timmins was willing to waste a second round pick on THAT?

You're disappointed because Timmins picked someone in the second round who's nothing at all like Ryan White? I'm starting to get confused...

Teams do not go far into the playoffs without Ryan White types.

This kid IMO, is a core, third line role player. He is the Mike Keane we have been missing for almost the past two decades!!!

Shouldn't be on the 3rd line if this team is coached the right way.

Keaner is one of my favourite players of all time and he was a much better player than White, I also don't see White as a 3rd liner, he's a 4th line energy guy who can be a great presence in the locker room and a glue guy.
