How early do you need to show up to actually get a seat?

If it's like last year, it's not a problem, go whenever you want. They use the twin rinks so there's plenty of seats.

Do we know which rink or do they use both.

Yakupov expressing positive attitude. Team before individuals. Liking him even more now.

Fans should start wearing Hawaiian shirts and leis to games. It would confuse the opposite teams and fans haha.

I think I'm headed there on Thursday. I usually go at least once each year to see the kids. Always interesting to watch em! Even if it isn't an actual game.

Wasn't there last year so I'm stoked.

Apparently, tomorrow's camp will be open to the public. As somebody from outside of Alberta, I'd like to ask if some of you guys could film some footage of Nail tomorrow and upload it for the rest of us. Pavel in the Hockey Hall of Fame today, Nail donning an Oilers uniform tomorrow.

Thanks a bunch. Exciting times!

it's always open to the public, they have it planned out that every day 3-4 prospects come out, sign autographs and meet with the fans. If you're brave you can talk for a few minutes with some of the local hockey personalities floating around at the camp as well.

As somebody from outside of... Alberta... (hint: I'm from another province and it will be impossible to attend)

Here's an example of what I mean. This footage was taken of former-Canuck Sergei Shirokov in 2009. Just a bit of puckhandling, skating, and some scoring opportunities, though hopefully longer than 18 seconds.

It is a training session, isn't it?

Every camp, there's usually some dude who records some of the drills. He put it up on Youtube that same day as well.

If this is his footage, it's tough to see who's who.

Hopefully, he'll be able to single out Yakupov in some of his videos this week. Looking forward to it.

I enjoyed that Fedun interview on the Oilers site and I really hope he feels healthy and performs well at this camp. Really rooting for him since I can't imagine the psychological issues he'll have to deal with as he gets back in a competitive setting.

He was looking really quite good last year in pre-season and I think there's definitely still a spot for him on our blueline if he can get back to that level.

Man maybe Pitlick is hurt and taking the time off. He needs all the help he can get with the development of his offensive game at this point. I'm still hoping that he turns into a top 6 forward.

I took a ton of pictures and twittered them last year, I'll probably scale back on that this year so I can enjoy more of the drills for myself, but I will take pictures and post them throughout the two days I go.

It's funny, but a few months ago I was thinking this camp might have fewer spectators than the last two because this whole 1st overall thing is probably becoming old hat for the fans. I don't think that anymore, as it appears Nail has already become a fan favorite. It should be interesting to see what happens with that if/when he makes the team and if he has a good season.

Not always. Sometimes they start with the skaters on one side and the goalies on the other. Depending on the day, you may have to just hope you guess right. 50/50 chance.
