He had Adam and Feinhage in the past.

Also, according to Eliteprospects.com, Ullmark's contract with MODO runs through 12-13, so I don't think you'll see him selected in Wednesday's CHL Import Draft.

Okay, so I did some snooping around on MODO's website and found his page. It shows that after Christmas, Ullmark dressed in eight SEL games, starting two of them and subbing into a third. Here are the highlights from each of those games (FYI wears #30 w/a white mask):

Some great saves and some real stinkers, particular regarding being tight to the post.

Hey, Rob Schremp's on his team. Interesting little tidbit there.

I didn't have the link or dates in my previous post regarding Ullmark's national camp invite:
Quote:
The reigning U20 World Champion Sweden will start the 2012/13 season with a camp in Norrtälje in the end of July and two games against the Czech U20 team on August 1 and 2.

The roster will then be reduced to 22 players for a tournament in Lake Placid August 4-11 where also Finland, USA White and USA Blue participates.

Goalies
Oscar Dansk
Joel Lassinantti
Niklas Lundström
Linus Ullmark

Ullmark extended 2 years by MODO per Bakes :

Quote:
Ullmark extended by MODO, so he'll be stashed in SWE two more years. Sabres will continue to use ECHL as dev tool as well.

They'll still have to sign him by 6/1/14, though.

It's too bad the new transfer agreement (four years rather than two) doesn't apply to him.

Linus Ullmark was Modos best player against Porin Ässät, that won SM-liiga last season. He saved all 38 shots and got a well deserved shutout. Made some crazy saves too. I wont be surprised if hes our(Modo) starting goalie this season.

Awesome. It's his ability to dominate games that makes him my favorite of our younger goalie prospects.

Good news; Linus Ullmark has been called in to participate in the Czech Hockey Games by Swedish national coach Pär Mårts after Johan Backlund (Vitjaz Podolsk) had to cancel because of problems with his visa.

Not expected to play but will be a good experience, and of course a nice token of appreciation!

Ullmark has the best stats of all the goalies that have played more than one game in SHL. 95,19 SVS and 1.6 GAA. Has been reeeaally good!

If Ullmark and Hackett develop into a potent 1A-1B combo by 2016, I would be so happy. Toronto's tandem was very impressive during our pre-season games.

Hey, is he still tearing it up?? Also, is he playing in the first division (formerly SEL) I really hope he can become a stud goalie, does he have elite potential?

3rd overall in GAA, 2nd overall in SV%.

MODO has two good keepers though so he is not playing every game. The other goalie has 16 GP vs Ullmark's 21 GP.

1. Markus Svensson SAIK 21 GP 1.59 GAA 14 W 93.74 SV% 1131:51
2. David Rautio LHF 25 GP 1.78 GAA 11 W 92.33 SV% 1514:02
3. Linus Ullmark MODO 21 GP 1.99 GAA 9 W 93.40 SV% 1234:04
4. Lars Johansson FHC 20 GP 2.03 GAA 8 W 91.31 SV% 1092:53

Linus Ullmark seriously deserves more attention. He's an absolute beast right now, saving 45 of 46 shots against Skellefteå yesterday. Best goaltender in the SHL and he's only 20 years old. Congrats Buffalo!

Good bye Miller! Definitely no long term overpaying contract anyways.
If Ullmark pans out.... He is the perfect age for our rebuild.

I wouldn't say that Ullmark is the PERFECT age......

He's in Sweden until 14/15, and then will likely need at least a year in Rochester in 15/16.

So, MAYBE he's an NHL rookie in 16/17.....when I think Patty and Co. have designs on being good again.

Guys like Hackett and Enroth are the perfect age -- will be hitting their peaks when this team might actually be good enough to contend again......

Not sure he'll need the year in the AHL. I could see him being ready to make the jump from the SEL right to the NHL. It's a men's league and I think it's pretty damn close to being on par with the AHL. I guess Enroth and Hackett's development/production next year will factor in whether or not the sabres decide to fast track Ullmark to the big club.

They can still bring him over this year if they want due to the transfer agreement, right? Probably just have to buyout the contract.

If they choose not to bring back Knapp, and Miller moves on, then they'd have 4 goalies in the system (Enroth, Hackett, Makarov, Lieuwen). They could roll with that, maybe pick up a vet for Rochester...would then make sense to leave Ullmark in Sweden for one more year and then bring him over and let Lieuwen go that year.
