"Brian's a gamer," a longtime NHL scout said of the Fargo Force blueliner. "Brian's a no-nonsense, game-on-the-line, all-out every shift, antagonistic player. He plays with an edge for his size, but with his speed, puck skills, gamesmanship and hockey sense, he's just got it all. He just wants it so bad."

Sounds a little like Dumba in the "possibly too small to play that way" kind of way.

I need a Cooper jersey.

You don't understand, I need one.

From the description it sounds like he could make a good 4th line winger if he's willing to switch positions.

Sounds a lot like Jake Gardiner with the way he skates. I saw a video of him playing and his first step is really explosive. Although I have no idea if he any of the offensive upside of a Gardiner.

Intriguing skillset indeed, this pick will be really interesting to follow. One of HP's scouts didn't seem to like his attitude though and apparently he liked the idea of not getting picked so he could choose his team, all other sources seem really high on his character though.

Sounds like Francis Bouillion (unless he can translate that hockey sense to the highest level).

Crippled by his coach last season.

He's got awesome offensive talent.

On ice or off ice attitude?

On ice, I can understand a bit, if you don't like a player who gets nasty after whistles.

Off ice, he's a 4.0 student who was one of the more outgoing members in the Fargo community.
