Great point.

All I know is it's nice to see one of these multi-passport hockey kids pick their parents nationality instead of the United States. The Americans already got Galchenyuk, Tinordi, Samuelsson, Matteau...got to share the wealth!

The problem is I'm saying that about all of our first four drafts, I need to stop being so excited when a few of them inevitably bust.

From what I remember, Tim had a slow second half. So let's hope he bounces back and learns to pace himself.
He actually had a good 2nd half.

First 37 games: 16g - 15a - 31pts
Last 34 games: 20g - 20a - 40pts

Timmins says he's killin' it in the gym so far this summer, too. Definitely going to catch a few games when he comes to Edmonton.

Not in the NHL. But here in France, Bozon is a household name. Tim's grandpa played for the french national team. And his father Philippe was the first french player to ever play in the NHL, and is seen by everyone as the best french hockey skater in history. And he's also a legend in Switzerland, where he played most of his carreer. Tim was not picked on his name, but his blood lines are a big deal.

Tim's brother, Kevin (95')
http://eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=92269

I am supposing those stats are irrelevant since it isn't a top level league. Can anyone confirm? I'm no European expert, but doesn't seem like he plays at a high enough level to potentially get drafted next year (or in 2 years)?
Also anyone know if Kevin will come to North America aswell?

Here at Tim's stats, pretty similar youth development for the both of them
http://eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=48990

Basically, to put it short, will Kevin be a draft prospect to watch, or will he most likely never make it to the NHL?

I just read on the Coyotes forum (Jordan Martinook's thread) that they wanted to pick Tim Bozon as a 2nd rounder instead of Martinook who is 20. Well the fans wanted that...

It's good to see that fans from other teams love our picks. I can't believe that we got him in the 3rd round though. I hope to read positive comments about him from the next camp.

I wonder how much Gallagher has to do with Martinook's success.

lucky you are a fan of a team with TT heading the drafting... he's been the best in the league at selecting NHL talent, and I bet this draft does nothing but cement his reputation.

that is VERY impressive given his background...

before the 71 games he played with Kelowna, the most he'd games he'd played in a season was 58, 50, 31... imo, a kid that comes to a new league (away from home, with new ice rink dimensions, let alone teammates) and shows a very positive learning/impact curve, shows the right kind of signs to becoming an elite athlete.

the step from Junior to Pro is huge... but his career trajectory thus far points to a special kid who has the mental make-up to make the most of the challenges put in front of him.

VERY excited to see what he does in the next 2 seasons in North America. Even if he stumbles, he could be a successful long-term story, but he may also surprise most and turn out to be an NHLer far sooner than his draft spot suggests.

I feel Bozon will become a better Michael Ryder.

He certainly has better hands, Ryder has a great shot though IMO.

He had awesome stats everywhere he played but isn't talked about a lot, wonder how far he slips ?

That OT goal was pretty freaking fantastic. His celebration was great, it was as if he couldn't believe he made that play ahaha.
