It looks great and was a great idea ... but hope they pull it off better than they did last year.

Was really interested to see more about the draft and the scouts and the general manager trade and contract negotiations etc etc.

Agreed. I suspect the producers, and even the Wild brass, thought the players would be the sexiest, most impactful for the fans, thing and so that's where the focus was. But personally, I'd have loved 2-3x more time in that draft war-room hearing the way the scouts, Flahr, and Fletch think about players.

Very good news!

I'd like them to focus on how the prospects they covered last year have developed over the last season. I'm sure FBJ will be a big part this year to hype his debut too.

Overall, very excited for more Becoming Wild. Well done FSN/Wild!

I hope they spend a huge chunk of time on the Lapanta hire and how everyone loved it!

But will it be good enough to show on the NHL Network?

They always show Edmonton's "Oil Change".

Watch them edit the hell out of it making it look like everyone is happy with it.

Just like that one episode where they asked fans how the direction of the team was going.

btw, I like the avatar. Could used it a couple days ago, too.

I tip my hat to the Wild marketing team. They know what the fans want.

If they do this I'm going to lose an awful lot of respect for this franchise.

Well I've respected GMCF so far, and Yeo... but after hiring LaPanta and letting Lats walk, lets just say my respect for the Wild has taken a few shots from a BFG and can't stand much more.

I wouldn't doubt it. Or they'll show him as some sort of an authority figure, and he'll talk about how the future of the Wild is so bright

I don't know where the Lapanta worry comes from. The "Becoming Wild" team is under contract to FSN, but they're not a part of the station. That's like worrying that The Simpsons might push conservative ideals upon viewers because they're on Fox.

Cool! I wish they showed more of the big club though. But I guess it is called "Becoming" Wild.

I've wondered whether my bad eyes are going REALLY bad, or his arms look really small. I guess its not me for once.
