Agreed. I suspect the producers, and even the Wild brass, thought the players would be the sexiest, most impactful for the fans, thing and so that's where the focus was. But personally, I'd have loved 2-3x more time in that draft war-room hearing the way the scouts, Flahr, and Fletch think about players.

Well I've respected GMCF so far, and Yeo... but after hiring LaPanta and letting Lats walk, lets just say my respect for the Wild has taken a few shots from a BFG and can't stand much more.

I don't know where the Lapanta worry comes from. The "Becoming Wild" team is under contract to FSN, but they're not a part of the station. That's like worrying that The Simpsons might push conservative ideals upon viewers because they're on Fox.
