I think Nuevirth, Green, Laich and Johansson could all be available for the right offer.

Doesn't mean they get moved, certainly they won't all get moved. But they are good players and the Caps do have some needs still particularly for a physical #4 Dman and a scoring RW or two for the top two lines.

These are the most likely players to be moved by a team that says they're looking to trade to upgrade their roster.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Ryane Clowe and possibly Douglas Murray were currently on the list.

One other trade I could see happen is Dan Boyle getting sent somewhere should the Sharks sign Suter, since having Suter, Boyle and Burns on one team would be a little much, at the very least in the salary department.

From the Sharks I could see Pavelski, Clowe, and Boyle being available

I wouldn't be surprised if David Krejci was available from the Bruins. It would be in an actual hockey trade though, not for picks and prospects. Not probable, but not completely unthinkable.

I really don't know too much about the Caps or the Ducks, but if the Caps need scoring wingers why don't they trade Johansson+ for Ryan? I'd love for my Isles to get him, but the more I think about it, the more I think the Caps would make real good trade partners with the Ducks. Ducks want want largely NHL-ready assests, probably wouldn't mind a good prospect, and the Caps have got both.

No, if Miller was traded there would have to be a potential #1 or a swap of a #1 coming back, Enroth is NOT ready for #1 goalie duties. Not even close. I really hope Roy and Vanek are moved. Love Vanek, but out with the old and in with the new!!!

Reading this quote from Jay Feaster has me believing it could be a busy July 1st not only for signings but for trades as well.

Quote:
The Flames are also looking to fill those holes through trades. Feaster talked to several teams prior to and during the draft about potential deals and will continue to do so.

"I can tell you I left the draft and a half dozen teams we were talking to said, 'Hey, we're still interested in talking here even though the draft is over.'"

Makes sense - that was my understanding on Enroth as well.

I think Buffalo should give this team another chance before blowing it up. There were quite a few changes they had to get used to, and Miller wasn't that great either.

With a healthy Miller, and a little more time to let the players get together, I think they can make it as 6-8 seeds.

Pat Kane is getting traded. That's for sure. Probably for a conditional 7th. He has negative value.

I thought I saw a report that the Caps talked to Buffalo about Roy before the Ribeiro trade.

We can already guess the first three:
-Bobby Ryan (Well discussed already)
-Rick Nash (Ditto)
-Roberto Luongo (Ditto)

So, any guesses as to the other 4-6? I'd venture Derek Roy, Jay Bouwmeester, Niklas Hjalmarsson, Steve Ott are four of them.
Hardly well discussed... we need another 8 threads.

It's either Douggie Murray or Danny Boyle, one of them will be gone.

Depending on how you consider Robidas you can add him to the list?
