Teenagers...computer...internet...forums about their team... Hahaha. Of course they do! And so do their parents.

People forget they are kids. They aren't millionaire professionals who have millions of reasons not to care what ppl think.

Agreed. But I think McNeil plays pro and sutch gets traded to another ohl team

Good for Tanner Pearson getting drafted by the Kings.

Great for Tanner. 1st round too! He totally earned it. And good for the Kings to recognize his skills and not shy away because he is not a first year eligible drafty.

what's up with your number one pick? Perlini. Is he going to sign?

Just picked up Dylan Corson. Making it look difficult for Huether to crack the lineup, or is that just me?

you bring in Corson to replace what you lose in Sutch grit-wise...he will be on the bottom 6 protecting the kids coming in. I don't feel like he takes a skilled spot away from a guy like Ray Huether...

Devin Shore looks like he is saying no to the OHL and is headed to Maine still unfortunately.

yes, with the amount of OA possibilities we have, it is pretty well a certainty...if any forward is staying it will be Beyers.

In other news....Hawerchuk got his lil buddy normy a spot at Jets development camp...congrats normy.

Best decision he'll ever make.

Just picked up Dylan Corson

This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Does this make the team better?

Is something more coming down the road with ownership?

it gives our young, smaller guys some creative freedom...he really wanted out of Belleville...I would expect a different Dylan Corson this season.

You posted a ton in the NHL Draft thread for this year (With the 94's)

You complained that not enough 94's where given the opportunity to play in Barrie two years in a row.

You went through and took shots at almost all the 94 draft prospects mentioned on HFboards, calling them over-rated and awful.

Just stating facts, but its interesting, no?

Corson is a character kid and player...gets that from the old man. He's tough and gritty and can chip in some offense as well. Not every player has to be a goal scorer and on the PP as there just wouldn't be enough ice to go around. I think this was a good pickup and good for Corson who knew it was wiser to move on in his situation.

Looks like Scheifele should be coming back with the Jokinen signing and Burmi and Little already at centre unless they have him on the 4th line and that wouldn't be good for his development.

I think another year for Scheifele would be better for his development and I'm sure Dale and company would love to have him back for another year.

That is hard to say right now from a Jets fan perspective. Scheifele has already gained 10 pounds in the offseason under the training and nutritional guidance of the Jets staff (190 lbs as of last report), and aims to add another 7 or 8 pounds by training camp. It is kind of 50/50 if he makes it; additional physical strength may make the difference for him this season. They'll make a spot for him if he earns it; they can move little to right wing if required and Little's best years came on the wing. They are a patient group and will send him back otherwise.
