^ a bit of both I would say. He's very slow IMO so he's always caught out of position but he also makes up for those mistake by blocking alot of shots so I wouldn't mind him. The thing I dont get is why we don't resign sarich?? The guy can be that physical hard to play against d man feaster wants and him and Brodie would be the perfect 3rd pairing

Sarich might not want to re-sign here... He was a healthy scratch a number of times this year. Might be a little soured on the organization.

I asked the same question on the Islanders board re: Jurcina. Only have one response so far, but it sounds like he was asked to do too much. Might be a good fit as a 5/6 guy to play with Brodie or Smith.

I wouldn't mine if feaster brought in someone like Bryan Allen for around 2.5. He's a physical hard to play against guy like feaster wants and has history with bouwmeester in Florida, so at least there's a connection
