It means that beside playing U18 elite, the mother club Arboga was in division 1 (just under allsvenskan), so he was picked up for playing with the adults in the same season.

I definitely think he plans to go Division 1, then allsvenskan and then hopefully SEL unless he gets a called from Dinamo Riga, since HK Riga is his mother club!

This is also probable.

His dad was really a veteran latvian NT player with numerous WC and OG. Played in 3 danish clubs, in allsvenskan, in SEL, in KHL and Germany!

Also Mustokovs has actually stolen the position as second goalkeeper in Mora (after Daniel Hansen) from a Lithuanian!!! How often does that happen.....Mantas Armalis is loaned to division 1 clubs but they say they expect a lot from him in the future.......

So a little movement from your baltic friends!

Some interesting things ive read upon Haralds Egle(the young guy playing in EJHL) appearently he was recommended to the Mountain Glades team by Zemgus Girgensons father so it looks like we have somekind of elaborate system going on all the best latvian rookies go to ejhl than ushl than ncaa.

Yeah when you come from a small nation it's probably very important to get recommodations (well it's always important ).
Thomas Spelling being drafted by NY Rangers is as danish off course unknown overthere, but since he is highly recommended by Frans Nielsen they are not all that hesistant!

Yeah with the the Estonian/Finland brotherhood it's just the will and interest from the Estonian populace that is lacking. Their players will have all the chances to go develope in Finland. I think Finland would also love beating Estonian, as Sweden always love to teach Denmark that we are still second-rate (no fun so long Denmark was thrid rate as Estonia still is).......Norway has offcourse won over Sweden once so they they can talk back a little when the swedish superiority-talk takes over (many regard the danish league as even worse than Latvians lol).
But a baltic triple would also be a spectator favourite.......
Imagine a future baltic cup: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania maybe with a rotating 4'th invitee?!

Yeah that would for hell of a rivalry especially between us and lithuanins the old story of best friends off the ice worst enemies on the rink
As a 4th invite i could see Poland, they use to be in elite not too long ago,but unfortunatley they started losing interest
Ofcourse for the first 10 years we would be the dominant betwwen the 4,but if estonians and lithuanians really start getting into hockey, who knows, btw lithuanians got mhl vilnius so thats kind of good for their development

Yeah, but actually to become better you have to play better teams.
Estonia and Lithuania would be hammered at first...then they would focus all on better defence to keep numbers down, and then slowly by hard work getting more and more used to international speed.
Denmark started losing 47-0 in 1949 to Canada.......2003 we got into Elite......it can be done but you have to take your beatings on your way up.

Yeah i see zemgus as kind of "ice breaker" so to speak for latvian hockey because scouts and coaches will remember Zemgus and say "hey zemgus was from latvia, lets check out that place maybe theyve got something else interesting"

For 4'th round invitee...it could be Poland, Denmark, Norway that would maybe like to come (unless you go out of baltic and take like Hungary or Slovenia?). Could also to a finnish youth team?!

Yeah Ukraine will also really need it to get back in gear!
But i like these tournaments that is going on allready among the second-tier teams.
These NT tournaments with like France-Latvia-Belarus-Denmark style for our domestic league players. It gives them experience and so more depth when the stars return from SEL and NA to the real tournaments! It has helped both Denmark and France enormously lately!

What i see positive in Ukraine-theyll get an KHL and MHL team, which in term will popularise hockey in the country which will help produce more hockey players and more young guys who will be able to drive hockey forward.

When Latvia plays these kind of NT games it's probably without the KHl players but from the Latvian domestic league, right?!

So which country wants Latvia to win the most over? What could really get the fans to cheer?? Russia?
Which country causes most shame to lose to (that is fairly equal on level?)

So if we get on the topic of Latvian roster for the olympics ive changed my mind on how i want the lineup to look
M.Redlihs-Girgensons-Darzins (A playmaker,Powerforward,Sniper)
M.Karsums.Sprukts-K.Daugavins(Sniper,Big center who can win face offs and energy guy)
Rihards B-Bicevskis-Blugers(Mainly a checking line which sometimes can contribute)
Pelss-Berzins-Stals(pure checking line)
