We'll see if its true or not but I have ZERO problem running QB as our tandem for next year. If he is traded, it better be for someone that knows how to score.
I'm sure Dean is going to try. I just hope he does it for the team, not because Bernier wants to leave. Who knows if this is even true...but it wouldn't be surprising.
Well, Bernier already has Stanley Cup, might as well try and become a #1 goalie somewhere else. Dean will have no issues trading Bernier and I wish him the best.
I'm not even worried about the return. Wonder who Dean will sign to sit on the bench for 70+ games.

Bernier's value is at most a 2nd round pick right now. The Kings didn't play him in enough games the last 2 seasons for other GMs to get a read. He's still just a "potential" goalie right now.
Next year's draft is supposed to be pretty good, right? I'm cool with picks rather than immediate help.
Yes it is and yeah I have no problem right now dealing for prospects/picks. But if Lindback got 2 2nds and another pick, I want the same or more! Is there a greedy smily face?

Well if a teams desperate enough i think we can. Maybe Richardson/Clifford+Bernier for Stalberg

Teams have offered a 1st/prospects for Bernier in the past...can't see how his value dropped off since.
I think Zaktoff is likely to be the backup to Quick when Bernie is moved.

Not sure if thats true, he should be worth a bit more then that. Remember last summer Avs spent 2 firsts for a goalie with not that much more potential. I could see the Leafs trading a good prospect or 1st for him, or maybe Edmonton would be a real good fit. Might be able to get something like Paajarvi for him.
We don't have to trade him, so I'm confident that Lombardi will wait for the right return. If they trade JB, I hope they address a specific need, rather than just getting a draft pick.
