Right because points wouldn't really help out your argument too much would they. His regular season and playoff points are pretty close aren't they. When you consider he played hurt for the B's playoff run, then it ain't all too bad. This playoff, no Bruin played all that great, obviously.

Where did I say points didnt matter? You're arguing that point for no reason.

We'll never know how much his injury affected him, but a lot of players play injured. Nothing out of the ordinary. Doesnt change my view.

Lucic is one of the most overrated players in the NHL. Yes he's physical but he's slow and sits in front of the net and gets garbage goals. I cant think of a forward that does less work in the offensive zone than him.
See above bolded: Hence the term "POWER forward".

Can you imagine how much Burke would give up fo Lucic? I have a feeling he would trade anyone on that team for him. I think Burke would probably pay more than anyone else. Actually, I bet Burke wishes evey player on the Leafs was just like Lucic, it would be his absolute dream team. Not joking even a lttle bit.

If you jump into moving traffic I guess it's the responsibility of a car to swerve out of the way and miss you, right?

Yes he gets garbage goals. You say that like it's a bad thing. Garbage goals count just as much as fancy goals. But you have no idea what your talking about if you think he just sits in front of the net. Pay attention to Lucic when he has the puck. He is very very hard to get off of it when he has possession.

His value is high.

Would kill for him on the habs.

I'm sure he'd be confused as hell when Subban dives. Wouldn't know whether to smash Subban, or smash the other guy. Probably just beat both of them.

For the Cup run he had a messed up nose and foot.

You remember the Cup run right?

On topic: everyone here would take him on their team in a heartbeat. If you say no you are a liar.

Yep, that broken nose really held him back. We know how often he likes to score with his nose. Players play injured in the playoffs all the time, and are always criticized for their play regardless. If he could play, he could play. In fact, most players in the end of the playoffs are usually somewhat injured (except the year Boston won..). His play was sub-par.

He is a prototypical Bruins player that is 23 and has some very good years ahead of him. He is a pure hoss and will not be traded unless its part of a gargantuan deal that will never happen.

Everyone else can keep their fancy 30 goal scorers because Looch can score 30, knock people through the glass, and beat up your tough guys not to mention making the rest of the opposing team pee themselves after he bumps into a stray goal tender. I'm pretty sure Luongo addressed this subject last year. Miller should have listened...

Now the Bruins could send Caron and a second to the Rangers for Krieger, Del Zordo, and a fhirst...
