Still hope they go for McClement. Nokelainen would be a good 13th forward. He's being paid like one, anyways.

I question this re-signing. They effectively chose Nokelainen over Darche. Maybe it has to do with him being pretty good at faceoffs?

I put him in the same league as Darche, meh, could have done better, but he is fine for a 4th liner, 13th forward.

I must say this is unexpected, but I'm not going to cry over it, we needed a 4th line center. Just thought we'd wait on open market.

Better than trading an asset for the same type of player.

No problem with him as 13th forward but I'm shocked

This, also a Right Handed faceoff man that we have been lacking forever.

I see him and White sharing RW duties on the 4th line, with possible playing some centre for Noke

He was pretty bad last year but he had his moments. Good at faceoffs, plays hard even if his hockey sense is nonexistent. I'd probably have perferred Darche but I liked Noke on the Finnish NT a few years ago, fine 13th or 14th forward.

nokelainen is a low quality 4th line center. i would rather have darche on a 1 way that this guy. and i am not pro-french.

So basically they chose Nokelainen over Darche. Makes sense since Nokes can play center he's slightly more useful.
