Nice job of ESPN speculating 15,000 trade rumors to boost their ratings tonight. This thing has been a snoozer.

Some crappy foreigner, what a miserable pick. Have the Nuggets not learned that taking foreign trained players is pretty much a lost cause. Only 1 in like 50 turns out OK.

All this with Sullinger on the board, the guy was a top 5 pick at the beginning of the year in my mind worth the risk at pick 20.

Miserable pick? Taking a foreigner is a lost cause, but taking a guy with bad back and ****** knees aren't?

Anyways, seems like he's a solid shooter. Will probably spend in France for couple years.

I'd rather have PJIII, but whatever...

We got Faried last year, why not trust them this year. Also these picks rarely turn out to be anything special (especially in this range)

Fournier is a very talented and hard-working kid. He has been playing for a very weak team here (he has been playing as a professional for 2 full seasons, at the age of 19), and handled the go-to-guy responsabilities pretty well.

About the "foreigner" comment, I guess it depends where they're from, and also not all teams have what it takes to handle international prospects. I don't know much about the Nuggets organization in that aspect, but if you look at the Spurs, you have a good example of international scouting and player development. They're not all "lost causes".

Anyway, good luck to Evan in Denver, I hope he'll be able to show what he can do for your team

Why? You want someone to rival Gallo in softness? Not a fan of him, he goes into a shell when plays against good competition.

All I was saying was foreign trained players tend to bust way more than the NCAA players, and the Nuggets have had particularly bad luck drafting foreign trained players.

I hope this kid works out he seems to be what the Nuggets need a shooting guard, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

At least I don't think you will question his work ethic. He's a serious kid and maybe that's something the Nuggets were looking for

I thought the Raptors were going to get him especially when he said Quincy but it turned out to be Acy and not Miller.

Good shooter, needs to bulk up. Doesn't drive enough and has been said to rely too much on his jump shot, but thats the type of player we needed.

He's who Ty wanted (IIRC) and was 17th on the big board. I like him more than the Frenchman and he should be able to make an impact next year.

What a waste of a pick, he'll never even play a second in the NBA. Why not draft a hungry college kid who would come in and work hard to try to make the team. This guy has no incentive to come play because he never make more money in the NBA than he will in the Turkish/European league where he is obviously a stand out player and will get star money, whereas here he'd be lucky to be a role player and make league minimum.

That's because it isn't true.

If he were actually 175, he'd make Keon Clark look like Oliver Miller.
