Cerny: nope that's not Yogan, we'll see who that was taking a puck to the back of the leg, not sure who that was

I agree. Thought the same thing. He does look thin. He needs to fill out more imo. I hope he can smarten up for the A.

Ceresnak has looked very good.

McColgan is freakin small. But he is shifty, works hard during his shifts.

Yep, #46 is Ceresnak. He's shown great poise, an effective first pass, and smothering defense along the boards in his own zone. His point shot doesn't seem to miss the net, either, which is encouraging.

St. Croix has been kind of invisible, however.

He's 6'5 220lbs. He's already bigger and stronger than most players in the AHL.

I don't want him fighting AHL goons or anything but he should be able to take care of himself

Nieves has some nice hands, what's the knock on him? He skates well, moves well, has good hands. Not sure about his shot though. Just the whole "raw and hasn't scored a lot at the level he played at"?

Impressive scouting report with this Battleground Cam and Creepy Perv with ADHD commentary. Stand up!

St. Croix has been invisible. Does not seem involved at all. Disappointed. It seems like JT Miller, Ceresnak, Lindberg vs the Blue team.

McColgan with great speed and rush.

Then Thomas comes on after him and scores another beauty. I hope it can translate. He has looked great.

Yogan injured? hah
It was said he didn't put forth a good effort this season, but I see a big rangy smart player, the rest can be worked on.

Nice goal by Thomas, the hands.

Sick move by Thomas. Not that this is news, but when he has open ice, he's highly dangerous. It's getting that open ice that is the concern.

McColgan never missed an opportunity to hit someone, LOL. Very much in the mold of Callahan. Even in the way he moves around the ice, the paths he takes.

Cerny hasn't seen sather the past few days and he's not sure why. Either he's playing dumb or he just doesn't pay attention.

Ceresnak has just been a pleasure to watch. Making it look easy. Great at using his body to protect the puck. Great job making the right outlet pass to the right guy.

About Hrivik and whether or not he would be a mid-season call-up if he keeps his play up. The kid ripped **** apart in the playoffs for the Whale and now has 3 goals today in camp.

Great play by Nieves to setup Yogan. It was pretty pass.

Really impressed by Nieves and Andersson.

Thomas, Hrivik, and Miller too but I was more familiar with them.

My "first team" for this scrimmage:

Hrivik-McColgan-Thomas
Andersson-Ceresnak
Stacjer

Out of the invitees, the best of the bunch were Kyle Jean, Tomas Klima, and Nikita Zaytsev.

Nieves impressed me a lot. Great skating ability. He was very active during his shifts. Around the puck a lot. Had some great vision out there.

Andersson looked pretty smooth out there for the most part. Thought he could've been a little better on defense on some of his shifts.

Hrvik was Hrvik out there. He put the puck in the net.

I thought Stajcer was pretty good in net.

Yogan is big. Strong on the puck.

Thomas was showing off is great offensive ability. He can skate well, has a fantastic shot, great hands. Hope it can translate.

McColgan was pretty quick. Was willing to go into the dirty areas. Made some great rushes.

Ceresnak was arguably the White Team's best player imo. He was strong out there all game.

I thought JT Miller played a solid game. Didn't think he had much support.

Was disappointed with St. Croix.

Fast out with a nose injury according to Clarke.
