Absolutely. I said at the time that I felt sorry for Calgary. Imagine Kreider doing that to Rangers.

The folks that had Richards going somewhere other than NY were only those that did not want him to come to NY

So VAN has 3 righthanded shoots under contract with Salo re-signing. Bieksa,Tanev and Salo. Left side is Edler,Hamhuis,Ballard and Alberts.

Could this possibly be good news because I heard Vancouver was waiting on the outcome of Schultz to decide on Salo.

This is all just me speculating.

I always wonder what really goes on...if it's just a guy deciding "nah I don't want to play there" or if there's more to it. We really only hear it from the teams side, you don't often hear what the player really has to say.

Just curious if there's more to it than kids just deciding "nah screw it"

They don't know for sure they'll sign Schultz, Salo is good for them, makes sense in a general way.

I think people are skeptical that Tanev will get a roster spot over Schultz. Don't know much about him though

Technically they could've waited until after Schultz made his choice though.

I want Schultz to land in NY. I am watching SportsNet here in Canada, and the host of a talk show stated that the reason that Vancouver is the leading candidate to land Schultz is that his parents are Canucks season ticket holders. Fingers crossed that he joins our young nucleus.

At the rate we're going with the logic behind why he's choosing/not choosing some teams, someone is gonna turn around and say that Schultz remembers the 94 cup and has a deep rooted hatred for the Rangers ever since...

Personally, I dont have a problem with what Schultz is doing. He is not the first player to take advantage of this rule. Schultz and his camp are trying to do this quietly. Its really been the media that turned this into a circus. Maybe, because the Canadian teams are involved? I dont remember Blake Wheeler getting this much media attention.

Same thing as yesterday: Schultz feels like a king.
