750k cap hit 1st yr is a 1 way deal 2nd yr is 2 way
Where did you get the 750 number? I see Bernier and Carter on CapGeek, but not Gio yet. Either way I'm pleasantly surprised we were able to bring them all back for under $2.5 million, and before July 1 to boot.
He's going to get a shot at a regular job. Debo's not a fan of Larson. Yet. Thinks he needs a couple of years.
I disagree. Larsson was used heavily at the beginning of last season, and with a year of experience under his belt he will be a better player. He'll show the progress he has made in training camp, and I expect him to comfortably make the team again.
Kudos to Lou for signing for 4th line! Other than the Marty situation I'm pretty glad about this. Harrold is a solid extra D man too, so I'm happy about that also. I swore Gio would wanna go play with Brian over in Montreal, and you never know some other team might have offered him a one way for two years to play with them. Glad to see it's a one way for this year, and that he finally gets a whole season to crack the NHL lineup! My worst fear was Boulton still being here, and none of those guys being signed.
LOL Remember when someone compared Bernier to Slava Fetisov, and Sean O'Donnell saying they were let go for things much less worse, and that Bernier would not be inserted back into a locker room where others think he cost them the Cup?

lol someone said that? Sean O'Donnell was a bum anyway, and Fetisov came back the next year, he was just traded in-season and has come back to the organization since. I still think our power play was at its best when Slava was behind the bench.
Haha can you imagine one of the goons in the Finals taking a penalty like that? No doubt it would have happened. It happened a lot in the regular season. Not a major penalty, but a lot of game changing deflating penalties.
Meh. I don't think he cost us the series at all. Elias not producing and the crappy Special Teams bit us in the ass hard. One play never causes teams to lose a whole series. Maybe it'll lose a game, but never a whole series.

Hey where did you come from? Been a while!
Agreed with what you said, and even if it did cost us the game we were in too big of a hole to climb out of. We really needed the split in the first two games to have a chance. We needed one OT win.

^ It so good to have MJB back posting. It's a literal ghost-town here without your "brilliant" input.
