I just can't see him going to NYR or VAN if he wants top four minutes. Of course no team can promise him that, but just looking at the roster, it's unlikely he gets it in either of those places.
How many times does it have to be said that the Rangers are very thin on the right saide. They have Girardi but after that there is really nothing. They have no idea if Sauer is coming back next season. Erixon experimented on the right side but is a LD. MDZ, Staal, and McD are LD. McI more then likely is not ready for the NHL and it looks like Stralman is going back to Europe to play next season.
I think it'll be the Leafs. Thought the same thing when "The Monster" was deciding who to sign with.
Schultz to the Leafs just makes sense. Gardiner's there, they just traded Schenn, he could play under Burke and Carlyle, and for a Canadian team in one of the biggest hockey markets in the whole world.
If not Toronto, I'll guess Edmonton. I truly hope he goes out West.
