Hysterical!!!! Well done!

Agreed. Good deal. This is a big part of the puzzle IMHO. Weight lifted, commence exhale.

Good deal. Marty gets a pay rise while Rangers keep one of the better back ups in the league and a guy who fits in well in the locker room.

Good for Biron on the raise. Good for the Rangers for getting it done before July 1. Jim Cerny must be pumped, him and Biron always did a good job with Biron's Journal.

He's a good goaltender. Personally I'd rather it were one year. What it tells me is that the Rangers have nobody in the pipeline that they think can step up to the NHL--for a while.

It's a little more than I would have like but not by much. It's great that Hank can have a decent backup goalie again. We saw how much that helped last year.

Cerny was confident Marty would return. The Rangers should have a $62M cap this summer. The next CBA will have $62M-$64M cap. The Rangers have $49M commited which doesn't include Kreider and DZ. Daly described the meeting the PA as "cordial". Same thing was said in 2004.

Well deserved raise, IMO. I would have preferred it to be around 1.1, but that's not much of a difference.

Yep so the G tandem is wrapped up. I am going to guess Erixon, Del Zotto and a UFA Righty on D

Upfront 3 UFA's, top 6 LW, 4th line C and take a chance on a depth winger via Free Agency

Completely agree. Luger's service ain't worth the price of admission and there are plenty of other places where the steak is at least not worse than there.

Congrats to Marty on another two years with the Rangers. As a fan I couldnot be happier to have him as a back up to the King!!!

Yea, I don't exactly enjoy having the waiters saucer my food to me.

Hedberg might have his sight set on the Devils starting job when Brodeur retires / leaves, which could be even sooner than later.
