Teemu Selšnne Document Movie. (Release Fall 2013 in Finland)

Movie makers have just started shooting in Finland and are planning to follow Teemu in USA.

Director: "I want to see what kind of person Teemu is. How he became who he is. What experiences have he received during the years....victories, losses, sacrifices and knowledge. I'm sure you'll know Teemu better after seeing the document."

.................................................. .........

So this is one more thing that makes quite sure he is returning...or will the crew just film Teemu driving Ferraris and playing golf in SoCal

I think a documentary like this should be done very extensively... Say over the course of 2 NHL seasons.....

Why would anyone make a documentary about an overrated player.

Is this movie for real? Should we expect cameras following Teemu and the rest of the flock next season?

They actually made a very similar type of document about Finland's expresident Tarja Halonen and they followed her around for a year. I've heard that it turned out to be quite good so if they manage to do the same with Teemu it's going to be great.

Maybe Teemu will go on Conan to talk up the documentary

You know what, I have been dreaming about Selšnne going to Conan for sometime now and it would be totally awesome! Probably won't happen since I have yet to see a hockey player in any late night show.

I remember Crosby was on Leno a few years ago... And I'm sure Gretzkys been on Leno before...

Considering some of the random guests Conan has on... Selanne would be a totally legit guest... Plus it will please all of his Finnsh fans.

They usually go on when they win the Cup. I know a couple Kings were Leno on last week, and Pronger, Giguere, and Brad May were on when the Ducks won. It really is sad that Teemu is practically unknown here due to the LA media bias, on top of the whole hockey not getting any attention other than the past month or so.

It would be cool if Teemu was Conan's guest and the studio audience was taken over by Ducks fans shouting "One more year" .

After all of these moves, I would suggest Selanne should retire. It is clear we won't be making the playoffs.

Lets wait and see how the final roster looks before we come to those conclusions. I imagine there will be a fair bit of roster movement between now and mid July.

Yeah... Like trading for Tim Thomas to help us reach the cap floor, without having to pay his salary... And picking up scraps from teams like the oilers, bluejackets, leafs and wild to fix our depth issues.

I don't see much improved for the ducks next season. Still hope Selanne signs and leads the team to glory... But talk about an up hill battle

Has he stated that his interest in another season is exclusive to the Anaheim Ducks.

It's my assumption, but I'm wondering if it's been confirmed.

Thanks.

Haven't said cause he doesn't have to. It's Anaheim or nothing.

Hey, there was a poll on the main boards whether he's overrated. Don't blame me...

Let's just hope the hold up isn't Murray waiting to see if he can land a big name. Isn't Selanne a big enough name?

You think Murray would actually be trying to sign a big name? Especially if Selanne was waiting to sign. Anyways, Selanne needs to stop giving his phony deadlines or actually follow through with them.
