Doan: Assuming he'd like a chance to win the cup before he's done. That won't happen in Calgary, I could see a small percentage chance they land him due to him wanting to play in a Canadian market, and the Iginla factor, but if I'm Shane Doan, the number of cup contenders out there looking for my services would steer me clear of the Flames.
Jagr: Dream on. Wants to win, play on a good team, and probably in the East.
Semin: Be my guest. Only way he signs in Calgary is for 6 million plus per. As a Canucks fan, do it up.
Semin might go to Calgary if the price was right, but I can't see the other two being interested. I'm convinced that Jagr and Doan want a shot at a cup (or another cup in Jagr's case) before they hang the skates up.
well I'm not surprised, old Jay never gave anyone a chance on drafting Mark Jankowski and throwing money at Wideman before anyone had a chance, does Jordan Henry view Calgary different now or is it just business?

Besdies, Calgary needs a center. Not a winger.
are you trying to say that Calgary is not a contender?
Doan, Jagr... yup, seem like Flames moves. When will this organization accept that they need to rebuild?
changing the look of the roster is rebuilding.
just because not throwing in the towel for lottery picks doesn't mean the team hasn't improved since feaster has takin over the gm job.
What the flames need is a top line center. Cammy moves back to wing and they are set. Now how to magically make that happen is the question. Jaybo could be the answer.
Jagr wants to win a Cup. Calgary doesn't give him that chance.
Doan will only leave Phoenix to go win a Cup somewhere, and probably not even for that.
Semin, maybe, if they hand him 7 million a year.
He has twice before and left the NHL (the only place to win the cup) for the KHL. He returned for the money and will sign with a team that offers him the most.
I am not a flames fan, and I'm very glad the flames are not just selling out for a rebuild. Something honourable about trying to win, you know.
Now if Feaster could make a couple good moves, that lineup has some potential.

Flames roster is pretty much set (just the need for one more top-six forward), however there is speculation Feaster might still be after a gritty bottom-six winger, plus maybe even a backup goaltender.
Prediction: Calgary signs Jaromir Jagr to play with countryman Roman Cervenka and brings back agitator Brandon Prust to play on the 4th line.
Personally, if I was Flames wouldn't touch Semin or Jagr. Doan different case, but I see him wanting to play for contender instead of non playoff team.

Since when does rebuilding mean taking a massive **** like the Oilers have done, or are doing? While I think the Flames could be making more moves to bring in younger players and draft picks by moving certain veterans, I think it is wise for them to continue to try and remain competitive rather than tank and try to "build something special" by drafting first overall for three straight years. Why does a rebuild require your team to be the worst team in hockey? Isn't that just another failed HockeysFuture meme?

Ridiculous comment. He could've made twice as much money if not more if he wanted, playing in the KHL.
Saying Jagr returned for the money is like saying that Lidstrom or Selanne were playing for the money these past few years.
Am I the only one that has literally no idea wtf feasters plan here is?
No you aren't and that is because Feaster has no plan. I'm not even sure he knows what he's going to do tomorrow as every move he does is pretty much random and doesn't seem well thought out.
Surprised the Flames ware walking on Jokinen. While he isn't the best center in the NHL he is the best that is available... and the Flames aren't deep there.
