I could understand why some would support "Traktor" - bacause of the name is so endearing. I can feel the plowing already! Never in a million years would you have an NHL club called Traktor lol

Yeah besides the name the team itself is quite decent.
Funny that teams is named by agricultural piece and its logo is polar bear chewing on a stick you can see the logo here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traktor_Chelyabinsk

What a shame....they should have a big polluting tractor (lots of black smoke) moving down the countryside

Btw Chelyabinsk (city where Traktor is located) hosted this years khl draft and will host this season all-star game.

lol....well it's more Jutland than Copenhagen actually with the wind.
Really silly would be "Copenhagen Fairies".....(because of HC Andersen and elvish mythology), but the name offcourse have a certain slang meaning now
"Copenhagen Elfshooters" is more cool (being elfshot is when you suddenly experienced big love or intense pain suddenly - for instance back problems) because the elves can shoot you with poison and or love arrows! You could have a logo with a badass elf holding a smoking hockey stick with a guy/troll (a norwegian hint?) lying down writhing in pain!

"Elverskud" (an elfshot) actually can't really be made into equivalent of "elfshooters" in danish..."elverskydere" would sound very silly. But danish league clubs use english names already like "Herning Blue Fox".

Offcourse you can always go for an abbrivation.....CC something
Copenhagen (Sea-)Captains (since Denmark was once a big seanation).

Just having a logo with Tordenskjold ("Thundershield") the dano/norwegian captain that beat the swedish. Our equivalent of Admiral Nelson.

Yeah thats the big if....with so many guys in NHL, where to get a quality team? It has to get a mix of scandinavians, because danish players alone would be to thin on paper!

OK...hmm all the good centers and RW are in NHL!

Something like this:
Nichlas Hardt - Jesper (A) Jensen - Kirill Starkov
Mads Christensen - Julian Jacobsen - (Thomas Spelling could play RW here maybe?)
Morten Madsen - Morten Green - Morten Poulsen (to have 3 morten on the same line)

Also: Thomas Spelling + Bjørkstrand brothers maybe as a baby line 4 as in Herning?!

You could surely get some american/canadian imports from AHL,also swedish/finnish imports from SM-liiga/SEL.
But it looks pretty decent

But it is severely under-powered IMO.
A strong top 3 is also lacking.
Our best forwards in Europe are almost all LW.
In NHL they are all centers with some RW.
