Or it's a neutral statement that is just informing people what could happen today. Its no different from Zip tweeting he could sign with Van today.

As I previously mentioned, Strickland has no sources outside of St. Louis and the Pronger camp. And his St. Louis sources may have dried up.

I read Zipay's tweet as "I have no idea if he is going to take the Rangers offer or not but if he does, it could be today."
Considering the way he phrased it, he'd have to be pretty clueless about the whole situation, or a terrible writer, if he meant it that way. Then again Zipay is pretty clueless.
ehhhhh players around the league aren't going to be that upset, just ones from Anahiem. Schultz isn't the first guy to do this and no one gives a **** about Blake Wheeler doing it at this point.
