- Paul, $4M/year, Gaustad.
- Kristen Huselius. At any price.

What are yours?
All of those are horrific except Doan. (and maybe Jagr, just for the fun factor, always been a huge fan of his)

I think that depends on the deal. I'd actually like a one-year deal with him (at the right price), a fear would be a long-term deal (over 2 years) which won't happen.

I agree on this one, but I can't see a multi-year deal for Jagr coming (from any franchise).

Well, I think Doan is a great player and he'd be a nice addition to have. If he wants a three-years deal, I'd probably give it to him.

I totally agree on that.

I'd love to sign Semin to a one-year contract, low risk possible high reward kind of deal. Any deal longer than two years would be irresponsible.

That's a fear I share with you. I just hope they won't go after Parenteau!

I totally agree with you. I don't want any player who's older than 35... (well, except for Whitney and Jagr...)

All in all I'm quite confident that the Sabres won't make a Leino-esque kind of deal. I don't see them seeking for a so called "top-6-forward" that badly.

My biggest fear: Suter, Parise coming into the division.

The Sabres are happy to announce the signings of Jeff Woywitka to a 6 year deal and Toby Petersen to an 8 year deal.

My biggest fear for the Sabres would be signing Semin.

League-wide it would be Pittsburgh or Detroit getting both Suter & Parise. If one team pulls it off (and I'm assuming it won't be Buffalo), I hope it's Minnesota.

My biggest fear on July 1st? Drunken Canadians.

From a hockey pov, Regier doing something because he feels he has to.

The backlash if Goose is re-signed

Jagr for a single season might be an interesting gamble. Multi-year would too much of a risk, that's why my fear is of a multi-year deal. Similarly, I don't care much for Jokinen's playoff history. The guy doesn't seem to ever get either into or anywhere when it comes to the post-season. Leaders. More of 'em.

Oh, and Doan? Three years? No. Two, maybe. One, sure. But I don't see him going mercenary to come all the way to Buffalo for that. He'll stay a short flight away from home and land in LA or Colorado.

Well, I take this is an opinion thread and it's just my opinion. I think that there are others that would agree with me. We like Bobby Ryan but not at the price of Tyler Ennis and Brayden McNabb., who are the two I would be asking for if I was Anaheim's GM.

I don't care how good (or bad) Olli Jokinen could be. I don't care if he scores 90 goals a year and will play for the league minimum.

I don't want him on the Sabres.

I hate his face, literally.

My greatest fear would be Buffalo offering Parise a great deal. But then in return he uses Buffalo to sign some where else. For example B. Richards. going to Rangers. Which would be Parise to the Bruins.

1. Derek Roy signing an extension
2. Taking on Rick Nash's idiotic contract
3. "We like the roster as it is"

there are a lot of players i DON'T want... but it's hard to call it a "fear"
