That's perfect! It's probably best for her to not be around if you're going to obsess over tomorrow (which of course you will )
What do you think the proper beer for FA day is? Something Pittsburgh based to help with the Parise-to-Pitt karma?
My wife and I have season tickets to the musicals at Benedum each summer and tomorrow we have tickets for Annie @ 2pm. I realized this on Wednesday when I looked at our packet of tickets and started to freak out. Luckily my wife loves me and just laughed and said she'd take one of her friends with her and I could stay home and watch tv and play on my forums. That's why I love her
awesome stuff
my fiance likes the Pens even. watches every game. But she just can't get in to this kind of stuff.
Since they are the cream of the crop, I'm not sure why Suter or Parise would want to sign immediately. They will be the ones setting the market and could afford some time to contemplate offers and use the time as additional leverage if need be.
From the old thread, the evil rossi twitter should randomly pick a hf trade thread and post a proposed trade from it.
I believe in karma...after Hossa leaving...Jagr going to Philly...our early exits...Sids concussion...I just hope the Hockey Gods give us a break for once tomorrow.

Unless they knew where they wanted to go already and got a reasonable offer off the bat? Like I said, if there is something to the Sid-Parise wanting to play together thing, and the Pens make an offer like has been reported, why would he mull over other offers? There are a lot of ifs in that statement, but it certainly is possible that there is some validity to all of this.
Isn't Suter not taking all calls/planning any meetings at all tomorrow? That's fine, it will help Shero focus on the primary goal of Parise. And I'm okay with the Yohe guess of $7.5 to $8m per season, but 10 years is a loooooong time.
Also love these Niskanen quotes from twitter:
Niskanen: "I'm not happy to be in Pittsburgh. I'm super happy."
Niskanen: "Pittsburgh does things the right way, and I want to be a part of it there. I knew immediately it was the right place for me."
It's been rumored that Nashville has interest in Martin. Also there are rumors that Radulov is going back to the KHL to come back next year as a UFA. Any chance he would stay in the NHL to play with Geno? Nashville knows he doesn't want to play for them and getting Martin back would be an important piece given Suter leaving. Radulov did seem to prove in his short time here that he can produce in the NHL. This would let Dupuis play on the 3rd line and make Kennedy and his 2m expendable.

Martin + Kennedy for Radulov + ?
It's a possibilty BUT Radulov didn't do himself any favors with the whole breaking curfew thing in the playoffs.
I could have sworn Radulov already said he was going to the KHL. I must be wrong.
Probably, i don't even know. If he talked to Geno and Pens brass, i'd certainly wouldn't be against it if he was on board but it's pretty doubtful the Pens are looking into him.

Yuck, no.
If they move Martin and Kennedy, I would hope it's to make space for someone like Doan, Whitney, or Stewart.
Radulov is already going back to the KHL, so it's a moot point.
If the reported offer to Parise is true, I can't see him getting a better deal from anyone else. The money is there, the amount of years is there, he'll be playing with the best center in the league and chances are, win a Cup or two during his 10 year span here.

You could be right. I was just perusing the Radulov thread on the trade rumors board and saw a quote from Poile that said he hadn't heard anything official yet. That with their supposed interest in Martin just got me thinking. If we were moving Martin I'd honestly rather just dump him for picks and sign Suter.
I mean I'd like to get big wingers, more power forward... Physical with a presence to the net...
I'd rather have Doan...
Doan is not as good as Parise. He's also a short term solution. Parise would be the best winger Sid's ever played with, and he'd be here for the long haul.
