Habs Shopping Bourque, Diaz.
Per 4th Period:
According to one league executive, the Canadiens are actively shopping the likes of right wing Rene Bourque and restricted free agent defenseman Raphael Diaz.

I don't mind. I like Diaz, but one of Kaberle/Diaz/Weber has to go IMO.

Didn't meahan say he was working on a deal for Diaz and Emelin?
Emelin signed so I'd imagine Diaz will as well.

Diaz signed as well. Doesn't mean they won't be shopping him either.

This is good.
Not sure if I believe it though.
@Dave_Stubbs
Agent Don Meehan told me yesterday he was "actively negotiating" w/ #Habs on Emelin, Diaz. So, Rafael, you're next

Diaz was by far the best of the three defensively last season in his first season in NA. I don't get why he gets lumped in with Weber and Kaberle. Really there's no reason why this statement shouldn't be 'Weber has to go, and if someone wants to take Kaberle by all means let them'.

If accurate, I'm surprised they are getting calls on Gionta... Interest in Plekanec is a gimmie

Offers for Gionta? Trading Diaz?? YES!!! Bourque... I would maybe keep him, maybe. I wonder if he would play better with better line mates.

Gionta trade value would be at a low right now, teams probably looking to steal him because he had such a miserable season last year and could still bounce back and score 25+ goals.

I still have hope for Borque to rebound from last year. Yeah, I'm an optimistic kind of guy.

Shopping means "getting rid of" and its how gauthier got r@ped in every deal. Lets hope for an era of real win-win hockey trades and not player dumps.
Having said that it took a month of open shopping and an idiot named pierre gauthier to trade bourque last time so hang tight this might take a while .

He had sooooooo many chances last year and he didn't do anything. Just get rid of him would be better than keeping him.

Kabs and Gomez as well. Gotta rid the team of those that GaineyGoats brought in. Time to start over. May be a tough few years but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I would never trust the fourth period as a source. Eklund has more cred.

Moving two out of that group would be better than moving only one.

What's a "modified" no trade clause exactly?
I know what limited means, this no.
