I'd like to see a deal involving Ribeiro and Marleau trading places. And we'll take murray too. You can have anyone but Carlson and Alzner. And Backstrom.

Marleau seems really underrated on here. Fourth in goals and eighth in goals per game the past four seasons. He's fast, good defensively, durable and scores. 6.9 million is definitely reasonable for what he brings. I know everyone mocks the Sharks for their lack of playoff success, but with back to back Western Conference Finals before this past season, I think they could still make some noise with a little luck and some tweaks. If they're going to move Marleau, it would have to be for something that changes the makeup of the team while still keeping them competitive now. Otherwise, what's the point?
I personally have a soft spot for Marleau, and honestly it doesn't look like the Wild are going to get the forward they want tomorrow(Parise), and the Minnesota Sharks have had good relations with the San Jose Wild in the past, so there could possibly be a deal worked out.

Any ideas, Sharks fans?
if it's a deal with the Wild, I'd imagine Clutterbuck would be in the deal. Beyond, that, I'm not too sure. Possibly Bouchard for cap reasons.
so does my Ranger offer make more sense now? Although I dont think the Rangers deal Del Zotto since they did not get Schultz
Dubinsky, Anisimov as a starter.
It states the sharks are trying to shed salary. How could sending back 6.7 mil accomplish that? They would shed a whopping 200k in salary. I think that would hurt our chances a bit.
