I think everyone is waiting to see who the first piece to sign is, then they'll start to scamper. I think tomorrow is going to be more active than other years.
Nope don't think Parise or Suter will sign tomorrow they will be monday. And until they go the trades won't go crazy. On monday or could even be late sunday night if they notify teams they didn't win the bid they might make the move.
I just like the fact we can make an offer but don't really NEED it, it's more a WANT.If the price is right.
Welcome to salary cap hell in a year if Parise signs with Kings. Totally worth it if the stacked Kings raise the Cup again in 2013.
Kings could easily add another 4-6MM/yr AAV contract to their roster without any trouble.
IF (if if if) the Kings are in on Parise or Suter (and I believe it's the former), they can certainly structure a contract through to 2021 for Parise that is very cap favorable.
I don't think it takes any rumor mill to figure out the Kings have got to be on Parise's very, very short list of destinations, and we all know he's a Lombardi guy. If Parise wants to play here, the Kings will make it happen. I think Pittsburgh is also seriously tempting for him. Travel is a consideration as well, and he's already in the East and just recently got married.

Makes alot of sence to me. Zach said he wants to goto a contender for a long time. The kings have the youngest best core in hockey. Hes played on the usa team with brown and quick. Dean s been trying to get him for over 3 years. Hes my idea of the perfect winger for kopitar. 8 years 56.8 millon ( 7.1 million a year)

The Rangers gave Brad Richards a 9 year deal worth $60M last summer (AAV of $6.67). With signing bonuses, Richards will earn $24M in the first two years of his contract, then he will earn $9M in year three, $8.5M in years four and five, $7M in year six, and then drops to $1M in the final three years.
This could be the final year that teams could offer deals like that, so if the Kings want to impress Parise and his reps, they may have to make a big splash like the Rangers did with Brad Richards.
