If past July 1st's show anything, expect our first signing to be someone like Zenon Kenopka. Would not mind it at all, but waiting for big guys like Parise and Suter will hold up trades that might be in place.
Sauer and Gaborik will be on IR to start the season
Stralman and MDZ are qualified, Stralmans return is uncertain though
Erixon may graduate
9 fwds
3 defenseman
2 goalies
We will sign at least 4 Fwds and 2 defenseman this offseason. Whether or not they were previously Rangers property or not I do not know... Do not see any graduating players (other than aforementioned Erixon) onto the NYR opening night roster as of now...
Another question, anyone see an offer sheet for mDZ appearing if he is offered 2 m?
i think he meant bringing in new people we will resign people like DZ, hopefully stralman, and i want erixon over ****ing bickel. let feds go and bring in a scoring winger bump hags to 3rd line. sign tootoo and konopka and we are done. so i want to sign 3 new players, semin konopka and tootoo
Reportedly we r not even going to make him an offer
That would surprise me. I think Kyper was more or less making a joke but I guess its hard to tell. NYR should have a bid in regardless of what he said.

throw 7.5-7.8 at him and see if we land him if not get me semin or nash(at our price)
I liken FA frenzy 2012 to getting socks and underware for Christmas. I'm usually pretty excited about July 1st, this year I'd rather drag my scrotum across a cheese grater and dip it in rubbing alcohol. Oh boy! maybe we can land Zenon Konopka!!!
There's no such things as lines that remain in tact these days.
Everyone will be moving about the lineup.
If they feel Konopka can help the team, then he can help the team.
Boyle, Anisimov, Dubinsky, and Konopka can all play both wing and center.
It would give Tortorella some options.
Certainly not with Torts anyway
I really don't know what i want the Rangers to do although if they decided to only bring in a couple of complimentary players i wouldn't be disappointed. On the other hand if they brought in a bigger name on their terms i also wouldn't be critical.

Oh it definitely would give them options, and there are no concrete lines, I just don't think Boyle should be getting 16 minutes a game (like he did in the playoffs this year) for what he brings to the table. And I feel that signing Konopka would, by process of elimination, allow Boyle to continue getting big minutes because he is better than Konopka offensively. I'd rather sign a 3rd line player who is better offensively than Boyle and limit his minutes, though we know Torts is in love with him so that wouldn't happen anyway.
Poor Rangers, easily going to be 4th in the Atlantic Division offensively, kinda scary to think where we'll fall in the Eastern Conference. Sure hope Hank eats his Wheaties this summer, because he'll be eating pucks the entire 12-13 season. Could be a looooong season. But take comfort in knowing ALL the youth is still here and "developing".. as Hank herniates a disk in his back carrying the trash all season.

lol overreact much? We still had 109 pts last year and still have the same team and a whole year of kreider. People act like the Rangers are gonna be without Gaborik the whole year

Wow...
There's overreacting, and then there's...this. I guess finishing in first and getting to the ECF was just a sly coverup to prevent us from seeing how bad this team was all along.
