yea i hear you. I just like to see the team always acquire aggressive big players.

Colby Armstrong is available, would like him for our top 9. would fit in perfectly and be an upgrade to Feds.

Malkin has stated in the past he shouldn't make more than Sid. Things change but don't expect Malkin going anywhere

Even if he doesn't make more than Crosby adding another big contract will make it a tight squeeze.

Does anyone think the Flyers being in the mix for Nash will scare the Rangers into overpayment?

maybe... it's a start.

J. Staal just signed up for 10yr/60m with the Canes.

forget about him ever playing with M.Staal. Why did we have to sign the brother that none of the other brothers like?

you have to wonder if at some point it makes too much sense to offer Marc to them? Just thinking out loud here. we have a lot of good defensemen coming through the system. If the Canes can give us what we need it could be an option...

No, but, that would appear to be the plan by Holmgren/Howson.

i wouldn't put it past them. they have a chip on their shoulder with NY, especially with the brutal beatdown we've given them this season.

they have to try to beat us one way or another.

No. He said he was tired of playing a 3rd line role and wanted more minutes and a chance to play wih his brother. It was a mutual agreement.
