not sure about Kadri in the #1 centre slot, but with that size on the wings, a smaller centre wouldn't be as much of a problem. Grabbo could fill the slot better than Kadri IMO, but doesn't solve the true need of a #1 centre.

Cheeky devil you, looking for 1st. overall in 2013.
The reason i think Kadri would fit that slot so well is that with JVR and Nash's size and skill on the wing it would open up a lot of ice for Kadri to use his hands and playmaking ability. Size on both wings compensates for size down the middle.
Fun morning HF runaround aside. Man it seems there have been a ton of last minute re-signings, the market just keeps getting thinner.
TONS of re-signings have made this day potentially dead. Almost every goalie is off the market, meanwhile there are teams who have two good goaltenders like Pittsburgh with Fleury/Vokoun. We can't even acquire one

Not all the comfortable with Reimer & Scrivens? Me neither

Definitely not comfortable with that tandem. If Luongo is out of the picture, I say have Reimer as the starter but definitely get an experienced goalie to support him. Scrivens in not the answer IMO.
They don't like Clowe? Kind of Jason Blake dislike?
Sharks fans have good reason to. He has all the tools to be a great power forward but he's incredibly inconsistent and boneheaded. He plays with Pavelski and Couture yet picked up a whopping 45 points. He's also famous for leaning over the boards and pokechecking a puck during play.
Guy is a clown.
Douglas Murray would be a great short term fit for Toronto though.
all i want is Nash, Luongo, and a #1 center. Is that too much to ask for?
Maybe just change teams?
I know, you kid you kid.
Trade 5 first round picks for Malkin and call it a day.

He's a scout's dream in the way he prepares himself and plays an unselfish game, making smart decisions with the puck. With his bloodlines, he certainly understands what it will take to make it at the next level.

Ah well, maybe we give a shot at the #1 overall
We still have our 1rst rounder next year , right?
Lots of pending UFAs from our roster after next season, maybe a big sell off?
