Skinner is an exciting player, but he needs to grow up a little.

I hope we just don't swap names on jersey's with more third and fourth line scrubs. This team needs to make a splash, whether it be offensively or defensively we need to improve the team...Suter would be nice to solidify the blueline, Parise on the offensive side. Outside of those two, the only way to really improve this team will be via trade. Gonna be a long slow day, doubt we see much...

Tough to make a splash with this free agent crop, look for a trade to bolster the offense.

Any ideas what it would take to get Danny Boyle?

Sometimes the best moves are the ones you don't make.

As far as Boyle goes- where is there a report that he is available? Is this just HF speculation?

Jason Arnott may be an interesting possibility for a 3rd liner

Why don't we just use this thread for all FA talk - Rangers speculation or other teams. Once new Rangers signings are made a new thread can be made. Having to move between multiple threads is annoying.

Yeah, there definitely won't be any other players to trade for in the next 8 months.

Agreed with this, always liked him - solid defensively and knows what it takes to win, but depends on price.
