I agree, I'd rather watch our "meh" AHL guys play up for a year, whilethe rookies get some AHL seasoning, then be saddled with some "riding into the sunset contracts from guys just finishing out their careers.

No idea who that is. Not sure its a credible source.

Great day to have an off-day and be in the house. Really hope the wild sign Langenbrunner not only because of Parise but for guy being a good mentor for ours prospects.

But the Wild offering all that dough are desperate right?

Never mind that the Wings will basically offer the same and attempt to court both Parise and Suter heavily...

Seems like there's some speculation that we're going after Langenbrunner in order to help get Parise. I'd be okay with that, as I've always been a fan of Langenbrunner, as long as the contract stays respectable.

I don't think Detroit can actually. They do have $5MM more in cap space than us, but the Quincey QO covers most of that. They also have Abdelkader re-signing (I believe he was offered a QO) so that takes a chunk out of it as well.

Today is going to be either really super awesome...

Or really frustrating because nobody important signs.

Or really, really disappointing.

I wouldn't worry about anything real exciting for 15-20 minutes at least.

Doing Laundry while listening to the nhl.com stream.

They're talking to Schultz right now. **** that guy. The way he treated Anaheim is ridiculous.
