If the Rangers signed two of selanne/Doan Whitney Jagr Semin etc that would really help the team down low. I like our top 2 lines problem is our 3rd and 4th lines suuuuuuuuuck

Yes, it is. Especially when you are a 31 year old UFA trying to get the best RETIREMENT contract you can. When you're a 21 year old who has never played a single NHL game, and the contract is gonna be the SAME wherever you go, just choose the team you wanted from the beginning. Don't turn it into a whole fiasco for no reason.

Seems like the Wild really are going hard after Parise:

Quote:
Michael Russo ‏@Russostrib

Not a shocker at all, but #mnwild called Parise's agents right at 11. No team is at Newport yet to talk to Parise
Quote:
Dan Rosen ‏@drosennhl

RT @mnwild: From the Wild war room: the #mnwild have submitted contract offers to free agents Zach Parise and Ryan Suter.
EDIT- Sens in as well:

Quote:
SensChirp ‏@SensChirp

They certainly won't be alone but I can confirm that the #Sens plan to make a pitch to Zach Parise.

He did. Why are you bashing the kid for doing his due diligence and checking out a few other teams?

Oh right, its just sour grapes that he didnt sign here.

In other news, water is wet.

Do teams really need to announce contract offers now?

IMO I don't think there is a chance he signs with the Wild. He wants to win.

Actually it's not. I wasn't pissed until I just saw his interview 30 minutes ago. He basically said that he had a hard on for Edmonton and always dreamed of playing there. He made himself a mini Lebron James by doing this. No one likes that.

I stated yesterday that I hated the kids attitude and even if we signed him, he'd need to change it right away. So stop telling me why I'm bashing him.

Parise is just listening to offers before he signs with Pittsburgh to avoid tampering charges.

I understand this is a TSN feed, but I can't stand how all they talk about is the Canadian teams...

Same here. They should make events like the Draft, Free Agent Frenzy, and the Drade Deadline all joint broadcasts, making them focus on the whole league, instead of only Canadian teams.

Probable are, but who really knows. TSN panel just said that Kane wouldn't be afraid to make a bold move I.E. not signing a deal with WPG. Purely speculation though.
