I'd guess 1.1 a year. It would have to be a decent amount for him to sign this early.

His attitude sucks.

Russians get stereotyped wrong because of guys like Semin.

You never seen guys like Fedorov, Larionov, Fetisov, Konstantinov, and Mogiliny act like this.

3 years x $1.9 mil per for Torrey Mitchell in Minnesota.
A bit higher than I would have liked anyway, but the number of quality 4Cs is shrinking pretty quickly. Looks like Talbot will have to fill that role again next year--which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

As long as Couturier gets a bigger role.

Most are fighting majors lol.

Doesn't put his team down shorthanded at all.

Paul Holmgren may be the reason why he can't sign Zach Parise or Ryan Suter. He lied to Richards, Carter and Van Riemsdyk.

The difference is veteran players are treated more fairly then our homegrown ones. Its almost like its always been like that since the 90s.

Unlikely.

Parise and Suter qualify now for NTC / NMC. No need to promise to observe them in the future.

ok, but again I say do we need that? honestly. I would rather spend that kind of money on a checking forward who can take faceoffs who can stay on the ice. Philly has enough guys who can fight.

Ha ha the bloke talking to Konopka on the feed said he's carved out a nice 'nitch' for himself (twice). I presume he meant niche.

He's the type of guy who sticks up for teammates. Not saying that's what we need is fighting but his assets as a pk specialist and faceoff guy is good. Him being able to fight is just another dimension he has. Nothing wrong with that.

Just because a guy fights doesn't make him dumb. He's probably more educated than you.

Are you sure about that? That was the impression I had of Semin, but I said it in another thread and everyone was all over me saying it wasn't true.

Armstrong off too for $1 million.

I hoped the Flyers might take a run at one of them to bolster their bottom six.

They were mistaken. Guy has all the ability in the world but doesn't like criticism and is too moody.

There's some cause for legitimate concern, but it tends to get massively overblown--particularly on TSN--which has never exactly been a bastion of love for Russian players.
