He's capable of being much more than a 6th dman, he can be a top four and provides them with some good mobility, just had a bad yr in Minnesota cos of injuries probably

Had a bad year with Minny due to injuries but he is a very solid pickup for OTT.

There's no problem, I'm just surprised that they didn't just keep Carkner for that money. I guess Carkner really did want a long-term contract,


The Sens do/did need a 6/7 guy with experience. Lee wasn't anything special. Gilroy was just a failed attempt at improvement, and Carkner wasn't a solution either. Even if they intend to play Boro-cop next season we still need a backup and someone for injuries. I guess Lundin has been known to play some top-4 minutes as well.

He's definitely going to be playing with Phillips. next season. I'm still wondering who they intend to play with Karlsson though.
